Our Story
Hi, we’re Chelsea & Cam from Family Footloose!
Our travel story started in 2018 when we packed up the caravan and spent nine months travelling around Australia with our kids. That trip sparked a love of family travel that has never stopped. Since then, we’ve explored hundreds of places across Australia, built a successful caravan hire business in NSW, and started taking our adventures overseas.
Today, we help parents plan amazing holidays with tweens and teens. We share honest travel guides, detailed itineraries, accommodation reviews and family travel tips from Australia, Thailand, Vietnam and Europe, with plenty more destinations to come.
Everything you see on Family Footloose comes from our own experiences. If we recommend somewhere, we’ve been there ourselves, and if we don’t think something is worth your time or money, we’ll tell you that too. Our goal is simple: help parents spend less time researching and more time making memories. We share the lessons we’ve learnt, where to stay, what to do, what to skip and all the little tips we wish we knew before we travelled.
Where we travel
We specialise in family travel across Australia, Thailand, Vietnam and Europe, with the Philippines joining our destination guides after our upcoming trip in late 2026.
